What is Suite 101?

Are you a Freelance Writer? Are you looking for "Get Paid to Write " sites? You might have heard of Suite 101. Know more about it here.

  • What is Suite 101?: It is a very popular online magazine. It is a private company based in Vancouver, BC Canada. Suite 101 has millions of readers and is also one of the most popular websites. Content type:
  • Content Type: If you want to be a writer of Suite 101, read the articles to familiarize yourself with the Suite 101 writing style. Suite 101 articles are written in the third person, meaning no “I” and “You”.
  • Categories: You work with editors on writing tasks. Basically, it’s like working for a news paper online. Provide them with your expertise and some examples and see how it goes.
  • Disadvantages: There is a requirement that, if you write for Suite101, you complete 10 articles every three months in your chosen subject. (This takes the “free” out of the Freelance writing)
  • How can you make money here? There are many writers who make good money with Suite 101.
  1. If a writer is hired, he or she will receive a share of advertising revenue for any articles as long as they are up. Suite101 has been around for 12 years and is very reliable.
  2. Once you have 50 articles live on Suite101, you receive an additional 10 percent of ad revenue.
  3. You get another 10 percent after you publish 100 articles. While Suite101 doesn’t pay per page view, the site says that they’re averaging about $4.20 per 1,000 page views.
